Zoe Flack, Dr

Lecturer in Psychology at University of Brighton

Zoe is a developmental psychologist interested in learning and literacy, across a range of ages, and in a variety of contexts. Previous research includes investigations into early literacy development such as learning from shared reading interactions, including looking at the effects of different book formats, and reading styles on language and literacy acquisition. Recent work includes community work with home educated families, improving our understanding of the lives of home educated young people. Current projects consider how different learning environments support the timely acquisition of literacy skills, broader “life skills” and general well-being.
