Dr Yvonne Salton is currently a lecturer of Secondary Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of Southern Queensland. She is an accredited panellist with the Queensland College of Teachers and a registered teacher. Yvonne has considerable experience and expertise in the development of higher education programmes, most specifically in teacher education. Her PhD ‘Images of the Teacher Self in an era of Teacher Quality and Standardisation’ considered how teachers navigate the current era of quality and standardisation and the implications this has on how they viewed themselves and their teaching practice. Yvonne’s research interests are about teachers’ developing identity and educational policy.
