Yunus Emre Demir is a doctoral researcher in the Institute of Education at the University of Plymouth. With a master’s degree in special educational needs and disability from Anglia Ruskin University, Yunus now specialises in ‘twice-exceptionality’. He previously taught in special and primary education in Turkey and in a joint project between the EU and Turkish Ministry of Education, ‘Promoting Integration of Syrian Children into the Turkish Education System’.
