Yamuna Dass has over ten years’ experience of teaching mathematics and statistics in Higher Education. Having worked at two diverse universities (De Montfort University and Coventry University), she has gained specialist knowledge and has established good working relations with academic colleagues and students. In her current role at the sigma Maths and Stats Support Centre at Coventry University, she teaches and supports students (and staff) with statistics and mathematics queries, with a particular focus on statistics.
Yamuna's research interest is around accessibility, specifically in relation to the learning of maths and statistics. She seeks to better understand how neurodivergent students learn and aims to explore and address challenges faced by neurodivergent students.
