Veronica Jobbins was Head of Public Engagement at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance until July 2020.

Originally trained as a specialist dance teacher, she worked in London schools for many years and served as the Dance Advisory Teacher for the Inner London Education Authority. She was instrumental in the formation of the National Dance Teachers Association (now part of One Dance UK), taking an active interest in promoting and developing dance in schools throughout her career.

Her roles at Trinity Laban included leading the Learning and Participation dance department which delivered an extensive programme involving; children’s and young people activities, projects and programmes both in and out of schools, the Dance Centre for Advanced Training (CAT), work in a range of participatory and community setting such as with older people, arts, health and well-being programme and professional development.

Recently she was part of a Dance, Health and Wellbeing research project Debating and moving forward methodologies with University of Exeter, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and Dance in Devon, (Wellcome Trust Funded) and 2008 – 2010 worked with Kerry Chappell, Linda Rolfe and Anna Craft on Dance Partners in Creativity, Exeter University (AHRC).
