Vandna Sinha is associate research professor at the School of Education, University of Colorado, U.S.A. She is interested in the ways that social policy impacts communal capacity to care for children and families. She has over 12 years of experience documenting the overrepresentation of Indigenous children in the Canadian child welfare system and examining disparities between the services available to Indigenous children and other children in Canada.
