PhD, field researcher; Adjunct Professor, Acting Chairperson at the UNESCO/J. Korczak Chair in Interdisciplinary Studies on Child Development and Well-being at the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw,lecturer and program director of M.A. Childhood Studies and Children’s Rights, Department of Education and Psychology at the Free University of Berlin in Germany (2016) and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (2017-18).

She conducts field research on the everyday life and education of excluded and marginalised children in culturally diversified environments, among indigenous people (Central Africa), children ‘out of place’ (the Horn of Africa), national and ethnic minorities (the South Caucasus) as well as migrants and refugees children in Poland. Author and co-author of numerous academic publications and educational publications for teachers.
