Tingting Yuan, Dr

Assitant Professor at University of Nottingham

Dr. Tingting Yuan is an Assistant Professor in Education and Teacher Development at the School of Education, University of Nottingham. She holds a PhD in Comparative Education from the University of Bristol and completed her MA and BA studies at Beijing Normal University. Tingting’s research focuses on International and Comparative Education, with broader interests including globalisation, public goods and education, international aid of education, China-Africa educational cooperation, and other educational issues within the complexities of the international political economy. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Compare: A Journal of Comparative and International Education and the International Journal of Educational Research.
Prior to joining the University of Nottingham, Tingting was a Senior Lecturer in International Education and the course leader for BA International Development and Education and BA Education Studies at Bath Spa University. Before that, she was a Lecturer in Education at Liverpool Hope University. She was also a former ordinary member and student fieldwork grant manager of the British Association for International and Comparative Education (BAICE) executive committee.
