Syra Shakir is an Associate Professor in Learning and Teaching and Strategic Lead on Race Equity in the Office for Institutional Equity at Leeds Trinity University. Syra works on several research, knowledge exchange and teaching projects on race equity in the curriculum, decolonisation, anti-racist pedagogy and co-creation with students to build belonging.
