Sin-Wang (Ph.D., SFHEA, FRSA) is Director of Research and Director of Impact and Innovation at the International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute, University of St Andrews. Concurrently, he is Visiting Professor at King's College London and the Education University of Hong Kong. His research programme focuses on ways evidence can be synthesised and communicated to be useful to teachers, leaders and policymakers, especially in language education, teacher education, and higher education.. Sin-Wang is Editor of Review of Education (BERA/Wiley), Associate Editor of Higher Education Research & Development (Taylor & Francis) and Innovation in Language Learning and Teaching (Taylor & Francis).
Sin-Wang is Immediate Past Chair of the Scottish Association for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (SATEFL) and serves on the governing councils of British Educational Research Association and British Association for Applied Linguistics.
