Serhii Smirnov – doctor of science in biological sciences, professor, rector of the State Establishment «Lugansk State Medical University» since 2021. During the military aggression in eastern Ukraine in 2014 as a vice-rector took an active part in the relocation of the State Establishment «Lugansk State Medical University» from Lugansk and in the development of the university in a new location in Rubizhne. One more time the relocation of the university there was in 2022. The development of the university starts in the city Rivne. Main areas of activity: education, science, management. Achievements: more than 170 scientific publications in the field of theoretical medicine.
