Sandy Wilkinson is a lecturer in Secondary Science Education at the University of Birmingham with 12 years’ experience of initial teacher education. He has held a range of responsibilities including leading the Secondary Post Graduate Diploma of Education (PGDipEd) programme, as well as being involved in the Post Graduate Certificate of Medical Education and teaching Foundation Level Chemistry. Prior to joining the University of Birmingham, Sandy was a consultant with Birmingham Advice and Support Service (BASS), supporting Birmingham secondary schools.
