Rahul is an engagement manager at Lyfta, the immersive and interactive edtech platform that allows pupils to build connections with new people, places and cultures, and brings powerful human stories from across the globe into the classroom. In the wake of the Birmingham ‘Trojan Horse Affair’, Rahul helped establish the Birmingham Education Partnership, a school-led system for school improvement focused on building a more connected education community. At the national CPD charity, Ambition Institute in London, he worked with senior and executive leaders across the country to improve the quality of teaching and leadership and to close the disadvantage gap.
Rahul also has a background in Philosophy and a Masters degree in Global Citizenship, Identities and Human Rights, with a special interest in diaspora identity construction in relation to long-distance nationalism and host nation experiences.
