Dr Paula Bosanquet is a senior teaching fellow and leads the Maximising the Practice of Teaching Assistants (MPTA) professional development strand of MITA, which focuses on developing pupil independence. She is lead author of The Teaching Assistant’s Guide to Effective Interaction. Paula has led and taught on PGCE and master’s-level courses, and currently teaches on the National Award for SEN Co-ordination at UCL IOE. Prior to higher education she was a primary school teacher for 12 years.
