Patrick Alexander is Professor of Education and Anthropology at Oxford Brookes University. Patrick’s research focuses on the sociology of education, and specifically how concepts of the future are proliferated through contemporary schooling. Patrick’s most recent work focuses on this theme as it relates to the future of education, including in extended reality or Metaverse contexts. Patrick is the 2023 British Journal of Education and Technology (BJET) Fellow.
