Nupur Samuel is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Writing Studies, O P Jindal Global University, Sonipat, India. Her research interests include writing pedagogy, inclusive education, critical thinking, English language assessment, gender education, and teacher education. Nupur was a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for Teaching and Learning Research, Sussex University, UK (2019). She is an alumna of the International Visitor Leadership Program (2013) of the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program.
Nupur has been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and writing at the tertiary level for over 15 years. Her research interests include writing pedagogy, writing and technology, arts-based pedagogy, inclusive education, critical thinking, English language assessment, gender in higher education, and teacher education. Nupur has played around with various mediums with varying degrees of success and brings her lived experiences to engage with more academic and pedagogic pursuits, attempting to blur the boundaries and look for cohesive, creative practices that inform the everyday.
