Dr Naomi Hodgson is a Reader in Education at Edge Hill University, UK, and a Visiting Professor at KU Leuven, Belgium. Her research focuses on the relationship between education, governance, and subjectivity, and she is currently leading research to support Everton in the Community’s Lifelong Learning Strategy. She is co-author of Philosophy and Theory in Educational Research: Writing in the Margin (with Fulford, 2016), Manifesto for a Post-Critical Pedagogy (with Vlieghe and Zamojski, 2018), and Philosophical Presentations of Raising Children: The Grammar of Upbringing (with Ramaekers, 2019). She is currently Treasurer of the Philosophy of Education of Great Britain and Vice-Chair of Governors for a primary school in West Yorkshire.
