Nadia Talukder is a doctoral student at the University of Oxford and Visiting Lecturer in Education at Birmingham Newman University.
Nadia’s doctoral research relates to identity transformation in teacher education; She is conducting an intersectional analysis of the identity transformation of Muslim trainee teachers in Primary Initial Teacher Education in England.
Nadia has 19 years of experiences as a Primary School teacher and leader. Within this role she has led on Maths Mastery and pioneering Modern Foreign Languages in KS1 and in KS2. Nadia has taught as a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
