Micheal Van Wyk is a Professor of Economics Education in Curriculum Studies and Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instructional Studies at the University of South Africa. His primary research focus is flipped pedagogy, open distance elearning and social justice in South Africa and Africa, and his current projects explore inequalities related to gender and flipped instructional design.
