Dr Melissa Glackin is a reader in Science and Environmental Education at King’s College London. Melissa is interested in why teachers teach what they do, and how they do, within the fields of science education and environmental education, particularly related to out-of-classroom teaching. Melissa is the director of the MA in STEM Education programme and was formerly Science PGCE director and biology PGCE director. Before joining King’s College London Melissa taught secondary science in inner London, and she was a project officer for London Outdoor Science (Field Studies Council). She is a trustee at the London Wildlife Trust.
