Megan Whitehouse is an ESRC-funded doctoral researcher in the School of Education and Social Justice at the University of Birmingham. Her research focuses on primary school exclusions in the West Midlands, using the lenses of care and childism to explore how children are made vulnerable to both legal and illegal methods of exclusion.
