Professor Mary Brennan is Chair of Food Marketing and Society and Dean of Education for the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. Throughout her career, Mary has juggled a full academic, programme management and leadership portfolio with undertaking both applied food policy and pedagogic research. More recently in her Dean role, Mary is driving work across CAHSS and the wider institution (in collaboration with the other Educational Deans and senior university leaders) on governance and training, improvements to Assessment and Feedback, Extensions and Special Circumstances, the changing student demographic, staff pedagogic training and development and the new University of Edinburgh Curriculum Transformation Programme.
