Martyn Ware is Head of Policy and Analysis at the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). In previous roles with SQA Martyn has led its work on e-assessment, managed a diverse portfolios of qualifications, including general and vocational qualifications, headed SQA’s work on the Scottish Survey of Literacy and Numeracy on behalf of Scottish Government and managed international development projects in Russia, Botswana and Lesotho. Immediately before taking up his current role Martyn oversaw SQA’s work to determine possible directions for the medium to long-term future of assessment. Beyond SQA Martyn was one of the founder members of the UK’s eAssessment Association and of the Association for Educational Asssessment – Europe’s eAssessment Special Interest Group.
