Lisa Giampalma is assistant head of the physical education department at Notre Dame High School in Sheffield. She has been teaching in secondary education for more 12 years after completing her under-graduate degree in sports science at Loughborough University and then her initial teacher training (ITT) at the University of Worchester. Lisa is passionate about teaching young adults about physical education for their personal growth, health and wellbeing. Lisa is also a sportswoman: she runs marathons in several locations across the world each year and plays in her local football team. She was the first female at Sheffield Football Club to chalk up 300 appearances.
