Lily Verity is a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Manchester currently working on an MRC-funded project to co-develop a new measure for youth loneliness with young people. Her research focuses on exploring experiences of loneliness in young people with the aim of identifying how to promote social connection and alleviate loneliness experiences. Lily primarily uses qualitative methods to identify salient aspects of the youth loneliness experience.
