Kath Bransby

Education Coordinator at Steiner Waldorf Schools Fellowship

A teacher and senior leader in mainstream education for 15 years, Kath developed pedagogical approaches which introduced elements of Steiner Waldorf principles and practice to early years classrooms, with a focus on developmentally appropriate curriculum content, learning outdoors and effective environments for play. As the national education co-ordinator for the Steiner Waldorf Schools Fellowship, she now works to support Steiner schools in their development and delivery of the Waldorf curriculum within a UK context.

Kath also works part-time as a lecturer and tutor in teacher education at Sheffield Hallam University, and delivers training in storytelling and outdoor learning for Sheffield City Council.
