Kate James is a freelance programmer, producer and operations/project manager, working in the creative industries. Throughout her career, Kate has worked on festivals, such as Lumiere and Durham BRASS, educational and cultural outreach programmes, and in the control room for national events such as British Summer Time and Brighton Pride.

As Programme Manager for the In2 project in Darlington, Kate is responsible for the design and delivery of the programme, fundraising, stakeholder management and coordination of the evaluation.
