Karen Healey is currently undertaking her PhD at the Institute of Education at the University of Manchester. Her doctoral research is a critical study that seeks to understand the role of parents (including and beyond the role of parent governor) in the governance of MATs. Currently she is the co-convenor of the BERA special interest group for Educational Leadership.
