John Carl Hughes is the head of the School of Educational Sciences at Bangor University and director of the Collaborative Institute for Education Research, Evidence and Impact (CIEREI). Carl’s research interests include broad application of behavioural psychology, including behaviour change in education and health settings, evidence-based educational interventions with children, reading instruction, and educational application of behavioural science. He has more than 50 peer-reviewed publications across the fields of behavioural psychology and education.
