Dr Joanna Wing Yan Yeung is a professional consultant at the Nethersole School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She currently serves as the Chair of the Credentialing Committee at the Hong Kong College of Nursing and Education (HKCERN) and serves as external reviewers/examiners in several higher education institutions.
With extensive experience in both healthcare settings and higher education, Dr Yeung brings valuable inspiration to the nursing students. In recent years, she has contributed to the development of nursing education and quality governance in higher education settings.
Additionally, she has served as reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed journals. Dr Yeung’s research focuses on innovative teaching and learning methods and interprofessional education. Recently, Dr Yeung received a courseware development grant for disaster nursing, which is aimed at engaging the students with the knowledge necessary to respond effectively in disaster situations on an interesting platform.
