Hayley Bullard is a lecturer at the University of Huddersfield. She has an early years professional background and has recently completed her PhD in Education. Her research focuses on Forest Schooling and Early Years pedagogy. The opportunity to volunteer in a forest school in Sweden sparked her interest in the development of the Forest School approach in England and influenced her practice as an early years practitioner. She has presented her work at the British Early Childhood Education Research Association in 2021, the Oxford Brookes University’s EdD Colloquium in 2021, and the University of Huddersfield’s SEPD Research Conference in 2020 and looks forward to continuing to share her research.
