Giovanna Comerio is Senior Fellow of Advance Higher Education. She joined the University of South Wales in 2022 as a Lecturer in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education on the postgraduate certificate of higher education (PgCertHE) course. Prior to that she lived for 20 years in China and taught for 14 years at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. She is not a fan of technology per se, but she is curious about it and likes to use it when it improves her teaching experience. Her research interests include teacher agency, student autonomy and pastoral care in multicultural environments and transnational higher education.
