Dr Geoff Walton is senior lecturer in the Department of Languages, Information and Communications at Manchester Metropolitan University. His research interests are information literacy, information behaviour, technology-enhanced learning (elearning), data literacy and public libraries. Geoff is currently working on the CILIP Information Literacy Group-funded project investigating the relationship between misinformation and wellbeing. Geoff has also recently completed a British Academy-funded project with Dr Ali Pickard and the late Professor Mark Hepworth.
