Felix Kwihangana, Dr

Senior Lecturer in Transnational Education at Kings College London

Dr Felix is a Senior Lecturer in Transnational Education at Kings College London. His research and teaching focus on the educational use of digital technologies, especially teacher education and digital technologies in under-resourced contexts. He is specifically interested in the way teachers develop digital competencies and how these shape their digital teacher identities in under-resourced contexts where ICT in education policies’ ambitions and resources are in constant dissonance. He previously worked at the Manchester Institute of Education, University of Manchester where he held different positions. He has also worked as a language teacher, teacher educator, and teacher trainer in Rwanda, and worked on teacher teacher development projects in low-tech environments in Rwanda, Ghana, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire and India. He is also co-leading the Digital Inequalities strand of the Digital Technology, Communication & Education research group (DTCE RSG) at Manchester.
