Elizabeth is a researcher, a rights activist and a creative facilitator. She is a PhD Student in the School of Health Wellbeing and Social Care at The Open University and a scholar with the ESRC Grand Union Doctoral Training Programme. Her research explores co-creation of sexuality education resources with young people in the Caribbean and is in collaboration with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
Elizabeth’s background is rooted in young people’s sexual reproductive health and rights, including research, advocacy, and programme design. She’s interested in studying ways of knowing and her research considers the nexus between participation, power, and co-creation. Elizabeth is guided by participatory action research and loves delving into the never-ending bag of creative, arts based methods in her work.
