Elena Semenova is a research associate at the Institute of Psychology and Education at Kazan Federal University in the Russian Federation. After graduating from the University of Southampton and being awarded an MSc in education (specific learning difficulties) with honours, she pursued her academic work in Russia. Elena is currently conducting research in the field of school bullying, indigenous language education, social justice and education policy. She is developing her expertise in arts-based approaches to tackling sensitive issues in education and psychology both at a research and practical level.
