Dr. Jie Gao is a Lecturer at Institute of Education, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society. Her research background lies in Psychology of Education. Her research interests mainly include parenting, children’s play, agency, well-being, motivation theories and teacher education. She is also interested in research on innovative methodologies. She has experience of using a wide range of research methods, particularly those of mixed-method approaches, such as Q-methodology.
