Dom Higgins is head of health and education at the Wildlife Trusts. Prior to working for the Wildlife Trusts, he was director of external affairs at the Conservation Volunteers (TCV), where he led the health and wellbeing agenda, leading to the establishment of their Green Gym unit (one of the original green prescriptions). In previous work, he has been a consultant to the Department for Education and Skills on their youth and citizenship programmes. He has also worked for an international volunteering non-governmental organisation, developing partnerships with organisations in South America, West Africa, East and Central Asia, and conservation, climate resilience, and community engagement programmes.
