Dan Nuttall is an experienced history teacher, currently teaching at a sixth-form college in the north-west of England. In addition to textbook authorship, Dan has conducted research into students’ perceptions of history education. His academic interests relate to historical consciousness and debates surrounding the purposes of history education broadly and Holocaust education specifically. The research discussed here was conducted for his Education MA with UCL’s Institute of Education under the supervision of Arthur Chapman.
