Claire Brown (FHEA) is a Senior Lecturer at Teesside University and remains in practice part-time as a Psychological Therapist working with children and families. Following her psychology degree at the University of Manchester, Claire completed her MA in social work and MSc in professional practice in health and social care, then completed her PhD at the University of Sheffield. Claire is TU Social Work Research Lead, co-chairs an Association of Child Protection Professionals special interest group, and is a member of several international equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) groups. Her research interests centre on promoting equity and inclusion for marginalised communities.
