Carly completed her BA and MA at the University of Victoria and completed her PhD in Education at the University of Glasgow. Carly worked as a curriculum designer for the Critical Thinking Consortium (at the University of British Columbia) and for the University of Victoria before taking up her current role at Liverpool Hope University as Senior Lecturer in Education Studies and Co-Director of the Centre for Education and Policy Analysis.
