Dr Bethany Woollacott is a postdoctoral research associate at the Centre for Early Mathematics Learning in the Department of Mathematics Education at Loughborough University. Bethany’s doctoral research focused on mathematics textbook design and how students read mathematics. In her current position, Bethany investigates effective practitioner-facing research communication, working with practitioners to narrow the gap between research and practice.
