Barbara Centrone (they/she – l*i/lei): a queer, disabled, and neurodivergent person, is an intersectional transfeminist activist and an expert teacher in education on differences. An expert in Disability Studies, they are a PhD candidate in Special and Experimental Pedagogy. Their research interests include the role of representations of non-conforming bodies in the construction of the collective imagination and identity formation; intersectional training of teachers to prevent bullying and discrimination against LGBTIQA+ people; creative methods for pedagogical and social research; and the experiences of disabled and/or queer and/or neurodivergent people in schools, universities, and other contexts.
