Andrew is an experienced system leader and influencer, who has a strong track record of school improvement both at individual school level and on a much larger scale. He is committed to transforming children’s lives through a world-class education and this underpins all of his work. Andrew is the executive headteacher of two outstanding schools in Sheffield and has recently taken on a school in special measures in Rotherham, he is a national leader of education and is the strategic lead for Learning Unlimited TSA and St Wilfrid’s English Hub. Within the last two years, Andrew has been directly responsible for supporting the improvement of over seventy schools and influencing the life chances of
around 17,000 children. As a fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, Andrew is committed to professional development and his current research interest is related to supporting the lowest 20% of children to learn to read. As a former Ofsted inspector, Andrew recently worked with the Ministry of Education in Peru to set up an inspection framework, which is now used across the country.
