Ambar Hernandez Negrete is a postdoctoral researcher in the Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior department at the University of California, Davis. Inspired by her experiences as a neurodiverse immigrant from Oaxaca, Mexico, navigating unfamiliar US educational systems, she is passionate about advancing antiracist policies that prompt equitable learning ecologies where Latinx students and other marginalised students of colour can thrive.
