Adam is a former London secondary school teacher and school leader. He is now at University College, London, working as a post doctoral research scholar. He gained a Phd from UCL in September 2022 researching 'The Prevent duty' and its impacts in English secondary schools.His interests include citizenship education, education leadership, policy enactment and policy formation. He set up during the pandemic a podcast entitled ' Conversations 4 Citizenship' which has proven to be very popular with academics, practitioners and research scholars.He is also an education leadership consultant engaged with a number of projects and has been asked to make submissions to a range of enquiries and commissions including on Counter Terrorism.He writes and comments in the media on education and has presented at a wide range of international conferences and forums including BERA.
