Job
Interim Policy Adviser – British Educational Research Association
BERA has grown and developed in recent years and is now home to a large number of leading educational researchers. We have also undertaken significant projects that impact upon policy and practice.
At this stage in our development, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced policy adviser to support BERA’s activities to inform and influence public policy and to further enhance the Society’s impact. We are looking to engage a short-term, project-based consultant to both act as an interim policy adviser and to scope out a future substantive role in more detail to assist Council in deciding whether a permanent post should be established.
This appointment will be on an initial 6-9 months basis leading up to BERA conference 2020. The role will be for 2-3 days per week.
In general, the BERA policy adviser will work closely with other members of the office team, elected members and others on specific projects as well as on developing a broader policy role for the organisation.
Full details on the role and how to apply are in the attachment here.
