Publishing opportunity
BERA and the British Curriculum Forum (BCF) are currently editing an exciting landmark publication, Curriculum in a changing world: 50 think pieces on education policy, practice, innovation & inclusion. This ambitious project will bring together 50 think pieces written by scholars, practitioners and policy actors from across the UK and beyond, thus representing a variety of strands of curriculum practice and research of historical and contemporary relevance in education. Published in 2024, this publication will mark BERA’s 50th anniversary.
We are currently seeking colleagues from a range of research areas who would be interested in supporting the editors to peer review the think pieces. These research areas are:
If you are interested in this opportunity, please email publications@bera.ac.uk with a link to your research profile and a list of your research areas. Your details will be shared with the editors who will be in touch if they require a reviewer in your area.
If invited to participate, you will be asked to review a maximum of five think pieces (1,000 words each), commenting on the accuracy, clarity and readability of each chapter. You will need to be available to complete reviews between 10 July 2023 and 1 September 2023.
