Dr Barbara Skinner, Senior Lecturer, teacher educator and researcher in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in the School of Education at Ulster University has been appointed as the Northern Irish representative to the Council of BERA.  With her extensive involvement in educational research Barbara will make a valued addition to our Council as it works to meet its three strategic objectives of advancing research quality, building research capacity and fostering research engagement in the education field.
