Narrative Inquiry and the study of social systems: Summer School at Klaipėda University
Colleagues and international visitors are invited to participate in prof. dr. Ivor Goodson’s (University of Brighton, UK) seminar ‘Narrative Inquiry and the study of social systems‘. Professor Ivor Goodson has worked in universities in England, Canada and the USA, and held visiting positions in many countries, notably at the Max Planck Institute in Berlin, Sciences Po – L’Institut d’études politiques (IEP) de Paris and Stanford University in the USA. Ivor is currently Professor of Learning Theory at the Education Research Centre, the University of Brighton, UK. Professor Goodson has spent the last 30 years researching, thinking and writing about some of the key and enduring issues in education and has contributed over 50 books and 600 articles to the field. Life history and narrative research specialisations represent a particular area of competence as does his research on teacher’s lives and careers and teacher professionalism.
